Membership

The membership fees fall due in September of each year.

There are four levels of membership, being full sailing member, family membership, junior membership and associate membership.

Full sailing members and senior family members enjoy all of the benefits of the club, can vote at Annual General Meetings, and can be nominated for executive or general positions on the committee.

Junior family members and junior members do not have speaking rights at AGM's and cannot hold office on the committee. A junior member is defined as being under 16 years of age, or under 18 but a full time student.

Associate members have the use of the club facilities and receive 'Lubberline', the club publication.

Any person who competes in 3 races is obliged to become a full sailing member, or risk having a 'no result' recorded against the boat on which they are sailing.

Membership fees

The current membership fees for 2011 - 2012 season are:

Before 30/09/11 After 01/10/11

Senior membership : $175-00 $195-00

Family membership : $205-00 $225-00

Junior membership : $100-00 $100-00

Associate membership: $70-00 $70-00

New members pay the pre 30/09/11 fee until 01/01/12 then the fee is half of the post 01/10/11 fee. At present there is no nomination or entry fee.

Learn2sail fees are as advised by the Learn2sail coordinator.

and sending a cheque to:

or paying cash,Visa or Eftpos at the clubhouse, or

filling out an online membership form HERE and paying by secure online credit card payment.

YOU MAY CANCEL THE CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION AT ANY STAGE UNTIL THE FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON IS CLICKED.
IF YOU REQUIRE A REFUND AFTER THIS, EMAIL membership@ltyc.org.nz STATING THE REASON AND YOUR TRANSACTION WILL BE REVERSED.
