How to become a Member:
Membership Registrations for the 2023-2024 Season are open now. Our Club welcomes new members.
You must be a full member of Lake Taupo Yacht Club to participate in the Learn to Sail programme.
The owner of trailer yachts and sports boats are responsible for making sure that all crew members are members of the club.
If you wish to join Lake Taupo Yacht Club midway through the season, members joining after 1 January each year may qualify for a reduced membership fee. For details email membership@ltyc.org.nz.
Members who joined on a half year membership last season will need to complete a new membership as half year memberships are unable to be rolled over.
If you experience any difficulties in renewing your registration, please email membership@ltyc.org.nz.
NZTYA Levy
Members who own Trailer Yachts are also required to pay the New Zealand Trailer Yacht Association fee of $10.
Membership payments made by Credit/Debit card through the online payment facility will attract an additional processing charge of 2.50%
Membership Categories:
Associate Member - $55 (non sailing)
Individual Membership - $290 (18yrs+)
2 person membership - $320
(one member must be 18 yrs+)
3 or more person membership - $335
(one member must be 18yrs+)
In all membership classes all members must be living at the same address
