How to become a Member:
Membership Registrations for the 2025-2026 Season are open now. Our Club welcomes new members.
You must be a full member of Lake Taupo Yacht Club to participate in the Learn to Sail programme.
It is the responsibility of trailer yacht and sports boat owners to ensure that all crew members hold current club membership.
If you wish to join Lake Taupo Yacht Club midway through the season, members joining after 1 January each year may qualify for a reduced membership fee. For details email membership@ltyc.org.nz.
Members with a half-year membership from last season must complete a new membership, as half-year memberships are not transferable to the following season.

NZTYA Levy
Members who own Trailer Yachts are also required to pay the New Zealand Trailer Yacht Association fee of $10.
Membership Categories:
Associate Member - $55 (non sailing)
Individual Membership - $290 (18yrs+)
2 person membership - $320
(one member must be 18 yrs+)
3 or more person membership - $335
(one member must be 18yrs+)
In all membership classes all members must be living at the same address
