Application for bunker storage
Bunker space applications for the 2023-2024 season has now closed.
Applications will only be accepted from members who have completed their online membership registration and paid the appropriate membership fee.
When you have been advised that a space has been allocated you will be invoiced by the Treasurer.
Conditions of use:
Only centreboard yachts used by club members sailing in the current season are eligible for storage in the bunker.
Storage is limited to one boat per sailor, unless otherwise authorized by the Lake Taupo Yacht Club Committee after considering a written application.
Only the associated gear required to sail the yacht, including a beach trailer and protective covers are to be stored. No road trailers.
Spaces are provided for Optimist, P Class, Starling and Laser yachts. These yachts are to be stored in the space allocated to them.
All foils, spars, and beach trailers are to be clearly marked with the yachts sail number.
Your space will be available after it has been allocated and paid for.
Only members who have paid the fee will be permitted to store boats past 30 September.
Lake Taupo Yacht Club reserves the right to remove yachts and their gear after this date if bunker fees are unpaid.
All yachts and gear are stored in the bunker at the owner’s risk.
Please ensure that all doors are locked at any time The Bunker is left unattended.
